THE WAR OF THE ROSES WAS A SERIES OF CIVIL WARS FIGHTING FOR CONTROL OF THE ENGLISH THRONE, BETWEEN THE HOUSE OF YORK AND THE HOUSE OF LANCASTER. 600 YEARS ON, WE WERE THRILLED TO RESURRECT THE FRIENDLY RIVALRY BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTIES.
Following team registration and a warm welcome by Willy Thorne, who introduced our hosts, the teams took the course off to a shotgun start. They played out a fun-filled, action-packed day of course activities, generous sponsor giveaways and a competition. Followed by a trophy presentation and an evening with John Daly, who ended by playing Sweet Caroline on his acoustic guitar, rounding off the day beautifully.
