THE YORKSHIRE INVITATIONAL

Following five very successful years, we are thrilled to announce that the Yorkshire Invitational will be returning this summer to Ilkley Golf Club.

This year's Yorkshire Invitational will be hosted by Ryder Cup Captain Mark James. Mark captained Europe in the infamous 'Battle of Brookline' at the 1999 Ryder Cup and also won 18 times on the European Tour.

 The Yorkshire Invitational will begin with a Pro-Am event, which featured notable Ryder Cup players such as Philip Price and Peter Baker in 2024. New to 2025, the Celeb-Am will follow offering players the chance to compete for a legendary team captain while also having the option to tee off alongside a star celebrity. We are delighted that footballing greats Lee Sharpe, Robbie Fowler and Gordon Strachan will be team captains in the Yorkshire Invitational Celeb-Am. With over 320 goals in England's top-flight between them, they’ll bring their competitive edge to Ilkley Golf Club as they compete to be crowned the champion captain. The Celeb-Am will feature a stellar line-up of sporting icons like Gold Cup and Grand National-winning jockey Mick Fitzgerald. Staying true to our Yorkshire roots, we are also proud to welcome former Leeds United players to the 2025 Yorkshire Invitational. The event will culminate with the Tournament Pro-am, where the champion professional golfer of the Yorkshire Invitational 2025 will be crowned.
