PLAYERS ENJOYED A SPECTACULAR DAY ALONGSIDE THE RIVER WHARFE AT ONE OF YORKSHIRE’S MOST ICONIC COURSES, UNDER THE SPECTACLE OF THE STUNNINGLY MAJESTIC COW AND CALF ROCKS.
Guests quickly relaxed and interacted in the purpose-built player's village with an ongoing supply of food and drinks served all day. The two-day event began with a pro-am on day one and an alliance on day two. Former England defender turned media pundit Danny Mills is one of the high-profile celebrities who played in the Pro-Am at the Ian Woosnam Senior Invitational. He was joined by Olympic medallist Nile Wilson, rugby league legend Danny McGuire, together with the tournament host and 1991 Masters champion Ian Woosnam. It was thrilling to see some top golfers, including past Ryder Cup Captains and players, and European Tour winners, compete in the tournament. Liam Bond returned to defend his title after lifting the trophy with a superb round of 65 in September 2020.
