Congratulations to Matt Cort for winning the fifth Yorkshire Invitational at Ilkley Golf Club!

The Yorkshire Invitational began in 2020 despite the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic. The tournament consists of 50 teams competing in a Pro-Am on the Tuesday, where one professional and three amateurs play as a team. The two best scores on each hole count towards the team’s overall score. On the Wednesday, the Alliance tournament sees two professionals and two amateurs play in pairs. From 2020, the competition has continued to grow.

Over the years we have welcomed Masters winner Ian Woosnam, PGA Championship winner Rich Beem, and U.S. Open winner Michael Campbell. This year's host was none other than 15 time European Tour winner and Ryder Cup winning captain, Thomas Bjørn.

The 2024 Yorkshire Invitational was another exciting event with packages available that allowed our guests to play with Senior Professional Golfers such as Roger Chapman, DJ Russell, David Lynn and Stephen Dodd. Other sporting legends who have previously played at the Yorkshire Invitational have included Nile Wilson, Darren Gough, Robbie Fowler and Gary McAllister, making it even more interesting for spectators.
